THIS WEEK IN SOFTBALL.....

Hi Everyone,

The season is right around the corner now... We are off and running now.....because we are starting really quickly into the tournaments and games, we have a busy two weeks ahead with fitting in outdoor practices to get us where we need to be for our first tournament April 28!!

PRACTICE:

Monday April 16 - 6:30 - 8:30pm - Terry Fox PS (TEAM PRACTICE)

Monday April 16 - 8:30 - 9:30pm - Terry Fox PS (PITCHERS & CATCHERS)

Wednesday April 18 - 6:30 - 9:30pm - Holly Meadows (TEAM PRACTICE)

(This is our last Holly Meadows indoor practice)

Saturday April 21 - 10:00 - 1:00pm - Shear Park (TEAM TRAINING CAMP)

(Centretown Sports Team Day at lunch time - 1:00 - 2:00pm - 20% off)

Saturday April 21 - 2:00 - 6:00pm - Shear Park (TEAM TRAINING CAMP)

Sunday April 22 - 10:00 - 1:00pm - Shear Park (TEAM TRAINING CAMP)

Sunday April 22 - 2:00 - 6:00pm - Shear Park (TEAM TRAINING CAMP)

(We will talk more about the training camp at practice Monday.... what it looks like and what we will be doing)

CENTRETOWN SPORTS TEAM DAY

We will be having our Centretown Team afternoon at lunch time on Saturday from 1:00 - 2:00pm.... 20% off at the store, if anyone still needs any equipment heading into the season!!!

LOOKING AHEAD:

This is our last week of Monday and Wednesday practice... next week we make the change over to Tuesday and Thursday for the remainder of the season, except we have kept the Terry Fox PS gym on Monday night for a pitcher and catcher only practice!! All of the schedule details are on the calendar on the website!!

PARENT MEETING:

We will have our final parent meeting before we get into the outdoor season Sunday April 22 (as long as the weather is cooperating) at 10:00am at the beginning of practice.... It won't be a very long meeting as we have covered most of the topics in previous meetings.. this is just a reminder of the outdoor season rules/expectations, and make sure everyone is on the same page as a quick touch base before we get going....

TEAM FEES:

There are still a few players who haven't payed their final team fee for the season... if this can be submitted this week that would be great!!

SPONSORSHIP BANNER:

We are heading into the season, and need to create the banner... I haven't heard from anyone else about sponsors so as of WEDNESDAY (APRIL 18) of this week, we will move forward with what we have!!

PASSPORTS:

Just a reminder that we are less then 4 months away from attending our first US tournament. If your daughter, or members of your family do not currently have a passport or need to renew their passports, please look into this sooner rather than later.
