FRED MEYER'S COMMISSIONERS CUP TOURNAMENT
Islands United were defeated in the quarterfinals down in Vancouver after a hard fought battle. With the game tied at 1-1 at the end of regulation time, the boys went on to play two ten minute over times. But the tie would not be broken in this format, as it came down to penalty kicks. The final score would be 2-1. It was a hard loss for everyone and a long drive home.
ISLANDS UNITED TAKES 2ND PLACE IN DISTRICT PLAY
Islands United in thier first season playing in the select soccer progam for SkVYSA went undefeated with a record of 11-0-3, but took 2nd place behind La Liga by 1 point. IU did have the honors of most goals scored with 70 and tied with La Liga for goals against, 10 in 14 games. Islands United achieved many accomplishments in their first year of existance:

Sept 2007- LABOR DAY KICK 1st Place
Sept-Dec 2007- DISTRICT PLAY 2nd Place
