The Tri-City Bomber's Baseball Club is an elite youth travel baseball program dedicated to the physical and mental development of our young baseball players. We currently list as having a home area of Clifton Park and Niskyuna in Eastern New York Travel Ball, but we host a number of players from all over the area. We have kids from Albany, Columbia, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Washington Counties. Our home fields vary. Our 13U team will play their home games at the Renssealer High School FieldThe 12U teams will share fields at the Woodin Road Complex in Halfmoon. The 10U team will play their home games at the Rensselaer Little League.

The Bombers Program has locked in a two year deal with the new "Strong Brothers Dome" in Hoosick Falls to add to our winter workouts. We will have Wednesday evening practices starting in March 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. We will also add Saturday morning practices from 11:00 to 1:00 starting January 2013. We will have use of the entire facility, which consists of two regulation size indoor soccer fields. The floor is turf and the ceilings are 65 feet high, and will accomodate live games at 12U and younger.

I am proud to say that all of our coaches have been certified through S.U.N.Y. Youth Sports this season. As far as I know, we are the only program in Eastern New York Travel that has a certified staff at all age levels, or any for that matter. I would also like to announce that I have been added to the Eastern New York Travel Leagues Member's Council this past weekend. I hope that I can serve the league well, and help bring the program forward.

The Tri-City Bombers will be adding a Lady Bombers Softball program at the 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U age levels for this fall. Teams will be selected via try-outs. If we get enough interest, we will run two teams at each age level. I am now taking requests from potential coaches. If you or someone you know is interested in coaching, please contact me for more information. I will be planning an organizational meeting within the next few weeks to determine the cost, decide on uniforms, and go over everything that needs to be done to get this program off the ground. If you have any suggestions please feel free to share, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Coach Jamie

The Tri-City Bomber's Fundraising Group will be selling 22 ounce Spirit Cups with our Bombers logo on the front and "The Heavy Hitters" Martin, Harding, and Mazzotti's logo on the back, as they were generous enough to sponser this event. Cups will come with your purchase of a large soda and sell for $5.00 each at home games. Refills are free, and every penny collected will go towards this years tournament fund thanks to "The Heavy Hitters".

Bombers 10U, 11U, 12U, and 13U players,

The Tri-City Bombers will be scheduling several travel tournaments for the 2012 season for all of our age groups. The 10U will compete in the "Snapple" Memorial Day Weekend Tournament at the Halfmoon fields, and also the June Madness tournament sponsored by ENYTB. The 11U team will also compete in the ENYTB June Madness tournament, as well as the AABC New York State tournament in July if they win a berth. The 12U Gray team will be entered in tournaments at "The ROCK", "Beekman", and "Snapple" Memorial Day weekend tournament at Halfmoon.  The 12U Blue team will compete in the ENYTB June Madness Tournament, and will be entered in the AABC, and PONY state tournaments if a berth is won. The 12U Blue team may also seek to travel to the CABA "National Championships" in Michigan. The 13U team will play in the ENYTB June madness tournament, and move on to the AABC, or PONY state tournaments if a berth is won. The 13U team will also be entered in a tournament at "Diamond Nation" in August. All of these tournaments are ran on the weekend, they cost a lot of money, and may require overnight stay in a hotel. We will cover tournament expenses through fundraising, and we will need every player and parent to participate in the raising of funds for these tournaments.  These tournaments are expensive, and those who choose not to help in raising funds will pay their own way. Costs will include $650 to $1000 per team per tournament, as well as hotel expense, and all meals. I am sure, that with a little effort from all participants, we can raise the funds necessary to pay for all of these tournaments in full.

Thank You,

Coach Jamie
