The Tri-City Bomber's Baseball Club is an elite youth travel baseball program dedicated to the physical and mental development of our young baseball players. Our home territory is Clifton Park, North Colonie, and Cohoes in the "Eastern New York Travel Baseball League", but we host a number of players from all over the area. We have kids from Albany, Columbia, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Washington Counties. Our home fields vary. Our 13U and 14U teams will practice and play their home games at the Renssealer High School Field. The 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U teams are now calling Cohoes Little League the "Home of the Tri-City Bombers".
The Bomber's have locked in a two year deal with the new "Strong Brothers Dome" in Hoosick Falls to add to our winter workouts. We will have Wednesday evening practices starting in September from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. We will also add Saturday morning practices from 11:00 to 1:00 starting in January 2013. We will have use of the entire facility, which consists of two regulation size indoor soccer fields. The floor is turf and the ceilings are 70 feet high, and will accomodate live games at 12U and younger. We will also continue to work out with all teams at the Maximum Fitness Gym in Troy and Hayner's Sports Barn in Halfmoon.
I am proud to announce that all of our coaches have been certified through "S.U.N.Y. Youth Sports" again this season. As far as I know, we are the only program in Eastern New York Travel that has a certified staff at all age levels, or any for that matter. We would also like to welcome to our coaching staff:
Hitting and fielding coach John Ryan (Mount Olive College).
Hitting and Catching coach John Coles (College of Saint Rose)
Catcher's coach Casey Job (SUNY Brockport)
Pitching coach David Batchelder (College of Saint Rose)
Pitching coach Matthew Weber (Canisius College)
Once again the Tri-City Bombers are insured through the "American Amateur Baseball Congress" for the 2013 season.
