With respect to discipline and sanctions, CYO enforces a Zero Tolerance Policy.
Parents and Players have agreed to a CYO Code of Conduct.
All persons associated with CYO, players, coaches, coordinators, spectators and officials are expected to conduct themselves in a positive manner that exemplifies Catholic values that should be fostered in our young people. These values include a mutual respect for and consideration of others.
Progressive disciplary action will be taken by the Baseball Coordinator when deemed necessary. Parent's Code of Conduct: I understand that at all times before, during and after a sporting event, I, my spouse and my guests are expected to conduct ourselves in a respectful manner at any sporting event which I attend and in which my child participates for a St. Kilian CYO team. I understand and agree that if I, my spouse or my guest fail to act in such a manner , that we will be required to leave the event immediately and that we will not be allowed to attend a game for the remainder of the season. Player's Code of Conduct: I understand that my child must treat all coaches, players, officials, and fans with respect. My child will listen to the coach's instructions and will demonstrate good sportsmanship during practice and games. I understand and agree that my child's failure to act in such a manner will result in disciplinary action by the coach or the CYO Coordinator. |
