Changes to the Closing Ceremony on May 19th have been made see belows agenda for new game information. Their will only be 7 games not 9. Mims Little League Closing Ceremony 2012 Season 19thDay of May, 2012 ( T-Ball, Minor II, and Minor Softball)
Schedule of the day’s events:
8:00 – 9:00 This is when the players from these teams will be arriving for their 9:00 games: (Hurricanes, Bulls, Wildcats, Mountaineers, Tigers, & Longhorns)
9:00 – 10:30 ish (when the finish up the games) Games will begin being played at 9:00. Around 10:30 the game will come to an end and players will gather their stuff and parents can take the equipment so that players can go on the Major Field by 11:00 to begin the ceremony. So the games are as follows:
Game 1 on theMajor Field: Hurricanes vs. Bulls
Game 2 on theSoftball Field: Wildcats vs. Mountaineers
Game 3 on theT-Ball Field: Tigers vs. Longhorns
10:30 – 11:00 ALL teams: Hurricanes, Bulls, Knights, Mountaineers, Tigers, Longhorns, Wildcats, Irish, Crimson Tide, Gators, Seminoles, Bulldogs, Softball Bulls, Softball Gators, & Softball Crimson Tide Will all need to be making their way to the Major Field next to the concession stand, that way at 11:00 we are ready to begin the Closing Ceremony.
11:00 – 12:00 Close Ceremony Agenda
We will start with all the players saying the Little League Pledge.
Next each team will be call in the above team list order. The Manager of the team will announce their player and the player will come up in the receiving line to shake hands and receive the following: 1. Trophy ( With the League Name, Players Team Name, Division, and Year) 2. Certificate ( With the Players Name and completion of a season in their Division at Mims Little League) 3. A coupon for ONE free SLUSHY. 4. A coupon for ONE free slice of PIZZA.
Finally we will have the closing remarks from Mims Little League President: Kris Wiirre
12:00 – 2:00 Games will begin being played at 12:00 must be done by 2:00
Game 4 on theMajor Field: Gators vs. Alabama Crimson Tide
Game 5 on theSoftball Field: SoftballMixed Players vs.SoftballMixed Players
Game 6 on theT-Ball Field: Knights vs. Hurricanes 2:00 – 4:00 Games will begin being played at 2:00
Game 7 on theMajor Field: Bulldogs vs. Seminoles

Managers - Send Your Team's Scores and Highlights to:
Managers are REQUIRED to report their scores on a weekly basis to Mims Little League if their team is participating in a competitive division. This will assure accurate standings and division status. A picture and short game recap can be included and will be displayed under the NEWS area of the website. Thank you all for your compliance in making Mims Little League an excellent experience.
