Brent is an Associate Scout for the San Diego Padres. He hosts the PA Nine Showcase and works directly with the Nor Cal East National Travel Baseball Program.

 The showcase is for players in the 2011 graduating class or younger and will act as a try-out for the PA Nine Underclassmen Showcase to be held on August 7 at Blair County Ballpark.  

The July 26th showcase will also provide instruction on the best ways to prepare and participate in baseball showcases.  In the world of baseball today, showcase style events are crucial to the ultimate evaluation of players by scouts and coaches.  It is vital that players have experience and "know how" to perform at their best in a showcase setting.

 The cost for competing for a roster spot in the PA Nine Underclassmen Showcase is $50.  The fee is non-refundable and includes the preliminary tryout and PA Nine Underclass Showcase (if selected).   Each player will also receive a brief evaluation of their performance.
