El Dorado Jr Wildcat Cheerleading

Cheerleading Practice will be held at Jefferson Elementary behind Galen Blackmore Stadium.  We will practice every Tuesday and Thursday in the same location and time weather permitting.  It is important that each cheerleader make it to every practice as the girls will be learning cheers and a dance routine.  Parents/Guardians are welcom and encouraged to attend every practice, please bring a bottle of water.

No jeans, skirts/dresses, flip flops or sandals.  Girls will not be allowed to wear jewelry or chew gum at practices or games for safety purposes.  Hair must also be pulled back away from the face.

Cheerleaders will be loaned a cheer uniform, turtleneck, and pom poms.  We will set a date prior to the first performance for uniforms to be checked out.  The uniforms will be worn for games only and are not for dress up or Halloween.  You will need to provide white tennis shoes with white ankle socks and hair accessories for your child prior to the first game.  Black tights or leggins will be needed for cooler weather.

**Uniforms in their entirety must be checked back in prior to the awards parthy held at the end of the season.  If the uniform is stained, damaged or not returned the responsible party will be billed for the current prict of the skirt, shell and turtleneck.

Games are held on Saturdays beginning September 8th.  It's the responsbility of the parent to have arrangements made to get your daughter to ALL the games 30 minutes early and expected to stay the entire game.  This allow time to stretch so that muscles do not get pulled during performances causing injury.  A cheerleader wandering around with friends, going to parents, going to concession stand, etc...is not acceptable during the game your child is cheering for.

We will be looking into a possible small fundraiser this year to add to and update our uniforms and equipment.  We will have more informaiton on that soon.

Please contact your coach if you have questions in regards to weather and if we are having practice or a game.
