We are playing on TWO FIELDS which border gravel parking lot. Bronco Field is the largest field where the concession stand is located. Mustang/Softball Field borders gravel lot at the right field fence.
ADMISSION is $3 per person over 10 years of age. Tournament passes are available for $10.
Please PARK in gravel lot or front of school (NO parking on Greenlawn Drive).

With the exception of the above local Summerfield rules, we will be playing under 2009 Pony rules.
Coin flip for home team Wed Thurs & Fri games.
Higher seed is home team on Sat.

Grasshoppers 5/30 Game Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who participated in the SRA Grasshoppers Fundraiser night. We had perfect weather and enjoyed all the fun of the Grasshoppers game. We raised over $3000 which will go towards a new batting cage for the baseball & softball players.

Baseball Sponsors
SRA relies on the generosity of local sponsors to help fund our sports teams.
Tobacco Free Zone & No Pets Policy
The baseball fields we play on are owned by Guilford County Schools. All Guilford County Schools property is a Tobacco Free Zone meaning ALL tobacco products are prohibited.
Additionally there are NO PETS allowed at the ball fields due to health and safety issues.
Batting cages
Pinto teams can use batting cages provided there are no Mustang or Bronco teams needing the cages. We allow Mustang, Bronco & Softball teams to use the cages 30 minutes prior to their practices & games as they must share practice & game fields due to field availability issues.
Tiebreaker
Teams will be seeded for the Playoff Tournament according to their final regular season record/winning percentage. All teams participate in the Tournament. In the event that teams have the same record/winning percentage, the seeding tiebreaker will be as follows: 1. Head to head game result 2. Least total runs allowed during season 3. Coin flip
Game Schedule

Each team plays 10 regular season games plus a double-elimination tournament at the end of the regular season.
Tournament seeding based upon regular season record/winning percentage.
Pinto Rules
All play shall be governed by the Pony Rule Book with the exception of the SRA Pinto local rules. Click Pinto Rules for the local league rules. It is recommended that coaches have a copy of these local rules at each game as the umpires are not always familar with each communities local rules which can vary widely. It is also recommended that coaches clarify with the umpire and opposing coach any particular rule or issue that's a concern in their brief pregame meeting.
Tournament Rule - only one time out permitted per game.

Every effort will be made to update the rain line, and this web site, by 5pm on game day. However it is often necessary to make weather/field playability decisions at game time at the field. Unless otherwise notified, please assume the game is being played as scheduled. Rain out games will be made up asap, on Wednesdays, and will be posted on this web site.
Concessions Schedule
Spring 2009 concession schedule available in late March.
Each team will be schedule to staff the snack shack on one night or Saturday during the season.
Coaches - it is your responsibility to provide at least 3 ADULTS to staff the snack shack on the night your team is assigned for duty. Reece will be there each night to help volunteers open & close the concession stand but each team must provide volunteers who are on time and available to staff the shack their entire shift.
Practice Schedule
In season practice schedule runs Sunday, April 5 through Sunday, May 31.
Practice cancellations due to bad weather are responsibility of head coach.
