Rangers win Mustang Fall Championship
Congratulations to Alex Pollard's Rangers for winning the Mustang Championship for the fall season.
The Rangers defeated the Rays 10-6 in the Championship game.
Congratulations also to Chip Dilday and his Rays for earning a spot in the Championship game.
Thank you to all players, coaches and sponsors (see list below) for a great fall baseball season.
Thank you also to Reece Walker, James Toker / Let's Talk Lawns, Jill Walsh / Summerfield Elementary and Northern Middle School.

Tobacco Free Zone & No Pets Policy
The baseball fields we play on at Summerfield Elementary School are owned by Guilford County Schools. All Guilford County School property is a Tobacco Free Zone meaning ALL tobacco products are prohibited.
Additionally there are NO PETS allowed at the ball fields due to health and safety issues.

Tiebreaker
Teams will be seeded for the Playoff Tournament according to their final regular season winning percentage (ties count as .5 win). All teams participate in the Tournament. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be determined as follows:
1. Head to head game result
2. Least total runs allowed during season
3. Coin flip

Mustang games are played on either the Summerfield Mustang/Bronco (MWF) or the Mustang/Softball field (W).
 

Mustang Rules
All play shall be governed by the Pony Rule Book with the exception of the local SRA Mustang rules.

It is recommended that each coach have a copy of the Mustang rules at each game as the regional umpires we use are not always familar with local rules, which can vary widely.

Most weather decisons need to be made at the field at game time by the two coaches & umpire.
Unless otherwise notified, please assume the game is being played as scheduled.
Rain outs will be rescheduled on Saturdays and possibly Sunday afternoons and posted on this web site.

Concession Stand
Each team is responsible for staffing the concession stand on one night during season.
Coaches - it is your responsibility to provide at least 3 ADULTS to staff the snack shack on the night your team is assigned for duty. Reece Walker will be there each night to help volunteers open & close the concession stand but each team must provide volunteers who are on time and available their entire shift.

Practice Schedule
PRESEASON practice schedule runs 9/8 - 9/27.
INSEASON practice schedule begins 10/3.
Please note that Mustang teams are practicing at both Summerfield's "Big Field" and Northern Middle School's softb all/Mustang field.
We are fortunate to have the NMS softball field for practice. Please do not park on Simpson-Calhoun Rd at NMS and please only use your assigned time for practice at NMS.
