Cardinals Win Mustang Championship
The Mustang Cardinals won the Spring 2009 SRA Mustang Championship with a 6-5 win over the Mustang Marlins.
The Marlins rallied for 3 runs to tie the score 5-5 late in the game, but the Cardinals scored the winning run in the bottom of the 5th inning to take the Championship.
Congratulations to Joe Strubinger's Cardinals and Jon Slaughter's Marlins for a great Championship Game.

Congratulations to the A's for finishing in 1st place during the regular season. Cubs and A's finished with same Winning Percentage of .727 (ties count as half win & half loss) but A's won the head to head tiebreaker with a 5-2 win during season.

Grasshoppers Game 5/30 Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who participated in SRA's fundraiser night at the Grasshoppers game. We sold over 1200 tickets and raised over $3000 which will be put towards a new batting cage for the baseball & softball players.

Spring 2009 baseball sponsors
Tobacco Free Zone & No Pets Policy
The baseball fields we play on at Summerfield Elementary School are owned by Guilford County Schools. All Guilford County School property is a Tobacco Free Zone meaning ALL tobacco products are prohibited.
Additionally there are NO PETS allowed at the ball fields due to health and safety issues.
Tiebreaker
Teams will be seeded for the Playoff Tournament according to their final regular season record (winning percentage if teams play a different number of games). All teams participate in the Tournament. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be determined as follows:
1. Head to head game result
2. Least total runs allowed during season
3. Coin flip

Mustang games are played on either the Summerfield "Big Field" or the softball field.
Please note that make up games will not be shown on this master schedule. Please click on SCHEDULE on top toolbar for revised schedule with make up games.
Mustang Rules
All play shall be governed by the Pony Rule Book with the exception of the local SRA Mustang rules.

It is recommended that each coach have a copy of the Mustang rules at each game as the regional umpires we use are not always familar with local rules, which can vary widely.
Rain Line 643.2117
Every effort will be made to update the rain line, and this web site, by 5pm on game day. However, it is often necessary to make weather /field playability decisions at game time at the field. Unless otherwise notified, please assume the game is being played as scheduled. Rain outs will attempt to be played the following Saturday but please watch for email and updates on this web site for make up info.
Concession Stand
Snack shack schedule available in late March.
Each team is responsible for staffing the concession stand on one night during season.
Coaches - it is your responsibility to provide at least 3 ADULTS to staff the snack shack on the night your team is assigned for duty. Reece will be there each night to help volunteers open & close the concession stand but each team must provide volunteers who are on time and available their entire shift.
Practice Schedule
Please note that Mustang teams are alternating between Summerfield's "Big Field" and Northern Middle School's softball field each week.
We are fortunate to have the NMS softball field for practice. Please do not park on Simpson-Calhoun Rd at NMS and please only use your assigned time for practice at NMS.
