Tobacco Free Zone
The baseball fields we play on at Summerfield Elementary School are owned by Guilford County Schools. All Guilford County School property is a Tobacco Free Zone meaning ALL tobacco products are prohibited.
Tiebreaker
Teams will be seeded for the Playoff Tournament according to their final regular season record (winning percentage if teams play a different number of games). All teams participate in the Tournament. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be determined as follows:
1. Head to head game result
2. Least total runs allowed during season
3. Coin flip

Mustang games are played on Monday, Wednesday & Friday nights at 6pm & 7:30pm. Please note Mustang games are played on either the Summerfield "Big Field" or the softball field.
Mustang Rules
All play shall be governed by the Pony Rule Book with the exception of the local SRA Mutang rules. Click Mustang Rules to view our SRA Mustang league rules.
It is recommended that each coach have a copy of the Mustang rules at each game as the regional umpires we use are not always familar with local rules, which can vary widely.
Tournament Adjustment to Pitching Rule - there is no six inning weekly limit for pitchers. Pitchers may pitch 3 innings per game in each Tournament game.
Due to 4th grade field trip scheduled to return at 5:30pm on 11/7, required number of players to start game rule is amended to allow teams to begin play with as many players as are available at 6:30pm. Late arriving players can be slotted in to batting order as they arrive without an out being recorded before they arrive. Please note the 6:30pm games must start at 6:30pm.

Every effort will be made to update the rain line, and this web site, by 5pm on game day. However, it is often necessary to make weather /field playability decisions at game time at the field. Unless otherwise notified, please assume the game is being played as scheduled. Rain outs will attempt to be played the following Saturday but please watch for email and updates on this web site for make up info.
Concession Stand

Coaches - it is your responsibility to provide at least 3 ADULTS to staff the snack shack on the night your team is assigned for duty. Reece will be there each night to help volunteers open & close the concession stand but each team must provide volunteers who are on time and available their entire shift.
Practice Schedule
This schedule is effective Monday, 9/22 thru the end of the Playoff Tournament on Monday, 11/10. Please note that practices are held at both Summerfield and Northern Middle School fields.
