ESPN SportsCenter Headlines - November 12, 2008
Braves WIN!!!!.
In an absolute thriller, the Braves won the Bronco Championship 4-3 over the Phillies. Pitching on both sides was SPECTACULAR! For the Braves, it was Parker Chase and Patrick Winicki. For the Phillies, it was Bradley Frazier and Grayson Fields. All 4 pitchers had stellar outings.
It was one of those games where you hate to see a team lose. Tied 3-3 in the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs, the Braves were able to score the winning run to cap a one loss season. Congratulations to coach Mike Chase and the entire Braves team for an incredible season. Also, to coach Kent Braud and the Phillies for a well played season and a well played final game.
Final Thoughts.
Thanks to all the coaches, players and parents for a great Fall season in Bronco. I think all the teams and players improved over the course of the season, and that's what its all about. One of the best things about Summerfield's athletic organizations is the support and participation of the parents. A big THANK YOU to all of the parents for everything you did to support the players and coaches this Fall.
Signups for Spring baseball will be held in February. Please check the SRA website for more information as February approaches.

Bronco games are played on the "Big Field" at Summerfield Elementary on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6pm and 7:45pm.
Rain outs will be made up the following Saturday.

Every effort will be made to update the rain line, and this web site, by 5pm on game day. However, it is often necessary to make weather/field playability decisions at game time at the field. Unless otherwise notified, please assume the game is being played as scheduled. Rain outs will be made up the following Saturday and posted on this web site.

Concession Schedule
Coaches - it is your responsibility to provide at least 3 ADULTS to staff the snack shack on the night your team is assigned for duty. Reece will be there each night to help volunteers open & close the concession stand but each team must provide volunteers who are on time and available for their team's entire shift.
