Link to Uploaded Documents

You've uploaded a team document to your web site using the "Document Upload" page from the admin area. Now you'd like to add a link to that document from your menus. From the "Edit" menu in the admin area, select "Select Web Site Menus..."

On the "Select Web Site Menu Items" page, click on the checkbox labeled "Add Link to Document".

At the "Select Document Link" page, you'll see a list of your uploaded documents. If you don't see any documents here, then you haven't uploaded any documents yet and you'll first need to upload them from the "Document Upload" page before you'll be able to link to them.

Type in a link title. This is the text that will appear in your menus. Next, click on the radio button next to the document you'd like to link to and then click on the "Add New Link" button to add this document link to your menus.

Once you've add the document link it will be added to the bottom of your menus. Use the arrow buttons to move the document within your menus to the desired posiition. In this example I'd like the "Memorial Tournament Bracket" to be listed under my "Team" menu directly under my "Game Schedule". I use the up arrow to move the item up through the menu items until it's positioned where I want it.

Now that it's in the correct position, click on the "Update Menus" button to commit the changes to your web site.

Note: Uploaded documents cannot be secured directly. If you'd like your uploaded documents to be secure, create a custom page and link to your documents from the custom page. You can then secure that custom page and in effect secure your documents.

Finally, view your web site to see your updated menus.
