How to Embed a Countdown Clock on Your Web Site

1. Go to http://www.countdownclockcodes.com/sports-countdown-clocks/. No need to signup for an account. The countdown clock creation tool is on this page.

2. Modify the clock settings. Scroll down on the page and use their customization tool to modify the date, message, and background image.

3. Select "Get Html Code" and Copy the Code. The button will highlight the generated code, copy the code and go back to the admin area of your site.

4. Paste code into text editor. In the Rteamsite.com admin area for you website, either edit your welcome message or create a news or announcement article so you have a place to paste the embed code. In the image below I created an announcement and titled it "Countdown Clock". Important: Before you paste the code, you must use the HTML button at the bottom of the text editor, to switch the editor mode to HTML. Use your mouse or the paste button in the editor to paste the Countdown Clock embed code into the editor.

4. Switch to Normal View Click on the Normal button at the bottom of the text editor to switch back to normal view. You should see your countdown clock appear in the editor. If not then you may not have copied all the code and you'll need to copy and paste again.

5. Update and View Site Click on the "Add Announcement" button or "Update Welcome" button depending on the page your on to save your changes. If it's a announcement, make sure you publish the article and have it available on your home page.
