Car Wash
We had a great turnout at our car wash on Saturday. The boys worked very hard and all of us at Woodmont Middle appreciate their dedication to the success of WMS Baseball. Thanks to all the parent help, without you parents none of this would be possible, so again Thank You. Regular Season Begins
We are officially into our regular season. All games moving forward will have the extra pressure of winning involved. I am very pleased with the progress all the boys have made, and they all have seemed to bought into the team concept of representing the name on front of the jersey.
On Game day players wear your Wildcat baseball shirts with your pullovers. Away games we will wear the Grey Jerseys and on home games we will wear our Blue Jerseys. Both home and away we wear the gray game pants with royal belt and socks. Mrs Impson has volunteered to assist with feeding the boys before games.
We will take a bus to all away games, and it is mandatory that all players ride the bus back home from games. You can pick up players after games in the car line in front of Woodmont Middle School. Getting a bus to the school on time is a big issue, so game start times will be pushed back depending on when we arrive to school and when other teams arrive at our school.
Pre Game Meal
Pizza Hut will be catering our pre game meals this year. Cost is $40.00 per player.
South Greenville Recreation Diamond Day
Saturday March 24 is South Greenville Wildcats Diamond Day. Woodmont Middle Baseball will be doing our community service work here to help support our local Rec League.WMS Baseball will help South Greenville Rec set up, and umpire games during Diamond Day. This is a great community service project that we have been doing for the last 4 years. Diamond Day will be at Loretta C Woods field on U.S. 25 south. More information to come this week.
