The 2009 Ryley Rebels will see their first action on Wednesday May 13 as they travel to Leduc to take on the Milleteers who are entering their sophmore season in the Powerline League.

 

The first two weeks might be a good indication as to how the year will go for the Rebels as they will face the Leduc Milleteers, Camrose Roadrunners and the defending champion, Bardo Athletics in the first 4 games of the year. A tough stretch that will test the Rebels both offensively and defensively. A revamped Armena Royals team should also be a much improved team that could contend for a spot in the playoffs come mid-July, while the Tofield Lakers might once again find themselves on the outside looking in.
