Article Date: Apr 11  EAGLES JUMP TO 2-0 The Eagles ran their conference record to 2-0 with a hard-fought 14-4 victory over Crossroads. Brentwood led 5-4 before turning up the heat in the 5th inning by scoring 8 runs and putting the game out-of-reach. After a shakey start, Jim Lowe settled down a pitched beautifully, earning his first win of the season. The game was highlighted by several terrific catches by right fielder Greg Farber. Greg also made a great throw to nail a runner at third base with the game hanging in the balance. Brentwood outhit Crossroads 14-4, but struggled early in the contest.
Next up, an away game at Bayless. Today's game against Hancock has been rained-out. A make-up date will be announced soon.
