Eagles Win Conference Opener
The Eagles avenged an opening day loss to Principia by thumping rival Maplewood 7-1 on Monday. It was the first conference win for Brentwood. Senior Andrew Newberry pitched 5 strong innings, allowing only 3 hits while striking out 11. Adam Kobler finished up by retiring all six batters he faced, striking out 5.
