The Gurnee Riverdogs is sponsored by Gurnee American Legion Post 771. For over 20 years,our post has fielded competitive senior legion teams in the 10th District league located in Northeastern Illinois.Our team is made up of players, 19 years and younger from Warren Twp. High School or players who reside in the Warren . Players display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our team is a positive influence in the lives of all players. We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing a healthy outlet for young adults and opportunities for the community to unite.

The Riverdogs play in the highly competitive 10th District legion baseball league. The 10th District is made up of Barrington Post 158, Deerfield Post 738, Fox Lake, Grayslake Post 659, Gurnee Post 771, Lake Forest Post 264, Lake Zurich Post 964, Libertyville Post 329, Mundelein Post 867, Lake Villa, Waukegan Post 281 and Zion Post 865.
Our team is registered as a non-profit organization. We appreciate the generous support of the community, local merchants, and civic organizations.
