It took some rescue pitching from Tommy Lynch and a shutdown 7th inning by Adam Kobler, as the Eagles defeated Jennings 8-4 on Monday. Lynch relieved starter Ryan Jones with one out in the 4th inning and notched his first win of the season. Lynch allowed only one hit and one run in his 2 2/3 innings of sparkling relief. Adam Kobler closed the game by striking out the side in the 7th inning.

 

Next up, a conference doubleheader at home against Bayless. Game time is 4:00 pm.
