Eagles Cruise to a Win
Eleven runs proved more than enough for Freshman pitcher, Kevin Smith. Limiting Crossroads to just 5 hits, while striking out eight batters,  Smith earned his first career win, as Brentwood won their third game in a row, 11-2. It was  six-run second inning that sent the Eagles on their way to their third conference win in four tries. Brentwood rests in 2nd place in the conference, just one-half game behind league leader, Hancock. First-baseman, Ryan Marshall had two hits and drove in three runs, pacing a 9-hit attack for Brentwood. Casey Jones also picked up two hits in the victory.
