Eagles Bounce Back in a Big Way!
The day started out ominously for Brentwood as they lost the first game of a doubleheader to Hancock 8-1 at Brentwood Park. It was the third loss in succession for Brentwood, who had scored only three runs in their last three games, including two shut-outs.
Well, the Eagles bounced back in a big way in the nightcap. Brentwood awoke from their hitting slumber by scoring 13 runs on 16 hits in the 3rd inning as the Eagles trounce Hancock 14-1, Brentwood had a total of 23 hits and cruised to their second conference win behind the right arm of Adam Kobler, who picked up win number three. Tommy Lynch, Ryan Jones, and Kobler were the hitting stars as the Eagles barrage traveled up and down the lineup.
Next up are home games on Monday and Tuesday vs Gateway Academy and Orchard Farm respectfully and a road conference game on Wednesday against Crossroads at Forest Park.
