Article Date: May 18 Eagles Season Ends
The season is over for the Brentwood Eagles. It was just too much David Williams yesterday as the Eagles lost 4-0 to Maplewood in district play. Williams, a senior, who is headed to Central Missouri State University, allowed only two hits, both in the 7th inning, and struck out 20 batters, as he dominated Brentwood hitters all evening. Williams performance overshadowed an equally fine effort from Adam Kobler, who allowed only 5 hits and struck out 12.
The Eagles end their season with a 4-10 record, finishing in fifth place in the conference at 3-4, and look forward to next season with a promising group of freshmen and sophomores to compliment our talented upper classmen. As always the coaches and players thank you, the parents and fans for supporting Brentwood Eagles Baseball. See you next season. Coaches Niemann, Imergoot, and Schalda
