Article Date: Apr 24 A strong comeback fell just short, as the Eagles eventually fell to Conference Leader, and undefeated, Bayless, 9-6 yesterday at Brentwood Park. The Eagles fought back from an 8-0 deficit to close the gap to 8-6 in the 6th inning and had the bases loaded with two outs; but the rally ended there and Brentwood's record fell to 2-6. Next up is a key game with Maplewood at home on Friday and the Brentwood Invitational on Saturday.
