Eagles Loss a Heartbraker
 (April 11)

Even a stellar pitching performance from Adam Kobler couldn't overcome "Mother Nature" and six Brentwood errors, as the Eagles fell to Hancock 4-2 on Friday. Despite a howling wind in excess of 30 mph and 40-degree temperatures, Kobler allowed only 4 hits and squashed numberous Hancock rallies.  But in the end, Hancock made the most of its chances and prevailed, as Brentwood's record fell to 1-2. Hancock improved to 4-2 and a perfect 4-0 in conference play.

The Eagles failed to score despite having the bases loaded with one out in the 5th inning and 2nd and 3rd with two outs in the 7th; but it just wasn't to be. The Eagles are 1-2 in conference play and face a busy week ahead with four games, starting Monday at Gateway Academy.
